A man shoots a guard and drags the body behind a desk. A man shoots several other men and we see holes open in their clothing no blood is evident.
Several police officers are shot. A woman is shot and dies. Two men open fire on several gunmen; several are shot, and a couple are blown up by explosives we see what could be the boot of one of the men struck by the explosive. A man is stabbed in the back, he moans loudly and he slumps to the floor.
Two men fight: one man jumps and kicks the other man and one man grabs the other by the neck to break it. A man with his gun drawn finds a dead man on the floor while searching a building for another man blood is pooled under him.
We see two dead men on the floor and we hear sirens blaring. A man throws an explosive, a helicopter shoots at a car and it explodes, and another explosive blows up and the flames get into the helicopter; the helicopter tips on its side and it goes into a house.
A man uses a knife and cuts into his shoulder pulling out pieces of shrapnel from a gunshot wound we see blood trickle as he presses the blade against his skin. We see a video of a man with a bag over his head being forced to his knees by gunmen and we understand that the man was murdered we do not see the killing.
A man points a gun at a woman's face. A man holds a gun on a woman. A man practices shooting and shoots a hole in a barn wall. A man jumps and grabs onto a moving elevator; he rides many floors, loses his grip with one hand, and then climbs up the outside of the elevator and into a building.
Several gunmen approach a house where a man and a woman are hiding. A man jumps onto the back of a speeding train he is OK. A man chases another man through a train station; they both slide down the dividers between escalators. Eventually we find out what Javier is up to. The meaning of the term Skyfall is finally revealed. All issues are resolved after a big gun fight and more explosions. This time out, director Sam Mendes Oscar winner for American Beauty in has delivered a stylish JB film with great action scenes but way too much melodrama.
Thomas Newman of the talented Newman family scoring machine uses the original James Bond music and adds his own touch of the exotic and the exciting to the screen. In places he echoes the late, great John Barry. In many ways, as you will see, this film marks the 50th anniversary of the franchise by rebooting it and starting over.
